Gemini insisted no such data existed—even when pointed to specific months—yet the event "Car insurance ends" was right there. Switching to ChatGPT with the same Google Calendar connection, it found two matching entries within 52 seconds and correctly flagged the upcoming payment.
The screenshots show the side-by-side contrast, highlighting that Google's own assistant underperforms a rival at accessing Google's own product, likely due to weaker tool-calling/retrieval integration.
