A Reddit user tested the classic "pelican riding a bicycle SVG" benchmark on a locally hosted Qwen3.8-27B-UD-IQ4XS and found that simply adding an encouraging line — "create a very detailed image with rich color depth and shades" — turned the lazy output into a richly detailed illustration, generated in about 2 minutes.
They note the same pattern in small-model dev work: spell out exactly what you want or the model takes the lazy route. "Models are lazy, just like us."
