Claude Code Desktop update flattens sidebar hierarchy into identical rows
vv-m · ghdev · 2026-10-16
A bug report on anthropics/claude-code (#102731, macOS) documents a UI regression since the Oct 13 update (2.37337.1, reproduced on 2.42304.0): the Code tab sidebar renders sections, environments, and sessions as visually identical rows — same font, margin, chevron, and "+" button. Right-click menus are the only way to tell object types apart, and a migration created environments with the same names as pre-existing sections, producing duplicate-looking entries. Sessions also no longer indent under their groups.
