3DCodeVerse: USC's ecosystem generates verifiable 3D worlds as code, with a 2M-sample dataset
UniversityofSouthernCalifornia · hf · 2026-10-16
USC researchers introduce 3DCodeVerse, an ecosystem for scalable, editable, verifiable 3D content generation via executable code. It includes the 3DCodeVerse-2M dataset spanning objects, articulated objects, scenes and graphics (Blender, CadQuery, OpenSCAD, Three.js, URDF, GLSL, OpenGL); an automated verification harness where coding agents (Claude Code, Codex CLI) build, render and get VLM-judged feedback with targeted fixes (demo quality score 0.44→0.64 over rounds); and agentic curation pipelines sourcing from Shadertoy, 3DCodeBench, DeepCAD and more.
