Meloform Launches: Hum for 2 Seconds to Train Your Own Vocal Timbre Synth
henloitsjoyce · x · 2026-10-16
Meloform's product page and GitHub links describe a three-step workflow: record a steady 2-second hum (sample timbres are also provided), train the synthesizer to learn your harmonic profile (64 harmonic sliders can be fine-tuned and locked), then play melodies with your "vocal instrument" — featuring a five-octave keyboard, computer-key playing, and built-in sample scores. Recordings stay only in the local browser tab. Design was done in collaboration with @paper.
