Q4-quantized coder model on 8-core CPU builds interactive solar system demo in one shot
IntrepidMindExplorer · reddit · 2026-10-16
A Reddit user ran the KAT-Coder-V2.5-Dev GGUF model (Q4KM) via llama.cpp on a potato machine with only an iGPU (14 t/s on an 8-core CPU) and got a single-pass HTML/JS solar system simulation: planets on realistic orbital parameters, click-to-adjust speed/eccentricity, and collision explosions. The model planned canvas rendering, particle effects and UI on its own — an impressive showing for pure-CPU local inference.
