OpenRouter launches Armor, a model-agnostic auto-permissions mode powered by decision model Jev
zeeg · x · 2026-10-16
OpenRouter launched Armor, an "auto" permissions mode similar to Claude Code's Auto but claiming higher accuracy and support for any model or agent.
Armor is powered by decision models: on an internal test set, OpenRouter's Jev 1.13 achieved the highest accuracy and lowest cost compared to other decision models and Claude Code's use of Sonnet 5, making agent permission approval a model-agnostic layer.
