NVIDIA released Nemotron-3.5-Embed-1B-BF16 on Hugging Face, a versatile embedding model for multimodal and multilingual QA retrieval:
- Embeds document pages as images, text, or combined image–text input; retrieval works from a text query, with pages containing text, tables, charts, and infographics.
- Evaluated for text retrieval across 34 languages (including Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, French, German) and image retrieval across 18 languages; more may be supported.
- 1B parameters, BF16, licensed for both commercial and non-commercial use.
