Dev argues coding models now beat nearly all engineers in every branch of software

zackoverflow fired back at coding-agent skeptics, arguing they're being Dunning-Krugered. He claims models like fable are now better than almost everyone in every branch of software: trained on all the internet's code, they know virtually every design pattern, low-level bit-twiddling trick, and every blog post from top engineers. Unless you're a 99th-percentile expert in a niche domain, he says, you simply cannot out-think or out-create these models.
