Prolog Swarms: BEAM-like concurrency for multi-agent systems in a Prolog-like language
schmuhblaster_x45 · reddit · 2026-10-16
An experimental project shared on Reddit: Prolog Swarms implements BEAM-like concurrency for multi-agent systems using a Prolog-like language (deepclause).
Screenshots show a live REPL with concurrent skill calls (a joke service, tool invocations) and a harness v2 of 12 predicates / 23 clauses binding clauses like agentmain, fsread, runshell and jokeloop to tools. The core idea: declarative logic programming plus Erlang-style fault-tolerant concurrency as an alternative to Python-function agent orchestration. Full write-up on the author's Substack.
