Gemini controls a real robot from one prompt: SSH in, find joints, learn from demo
heiga_zen · x · 2026-10-15
Developer @kikiki1 demonstrated controlling a real robot called Apollo 2 with Gemini from a single prompt: Gemini figured out how to connect over SSH, read the codebase to understand joint control, and explained its actions in detail — panning the neck 15° right toward a whiteboard 2.4m away. It even learned a slide-in strategy by watching a human demo, showcasing multimodal LLMs as a general robot control layer.
