Tesla adds 30 more Cybercabs in Texas, purpose-built fleet hits 349 with 300+ serving Austin

Tesla registered 30 more Cybercabs in Texas, bringing the purpose-built, no-steering-wheel robotaxi count to 349 — 180 added in just the past week — while Model Y registrations stayed flat at 420. Over 300 Cybercabs are already operating on public roads in Austin.
While most robotaxi fleets still grow by converting human-driver cars, Tesla is betting on scaling a vehicle that only works when nobody is driving. This is no longer a test of the concept but a genuine scaling phase.
