Dad builds his son's sketch into a game with Claude: 92 sessions, 555 files, $1,777 in API costs
vzakharov · reddit · 2026-10-15
A developer turned his 5-year-old son's sketch of a 'game about nothing' into a procedural mushroom-meadow simulator using Claude over several weeks. He ran 92 Claude sessions relaying context via one master plan, had a separate agent do code review after each sizable piece instead of reviewing everything himself, and spent $1,777 in API costs. The result: a 555-file PR, procedural generation where no two flowers or insects are alike, and a playable web game.
