expand.ai announced Expand Fetch, a web-fetching service for agents that extracts lossless Markdown preserving details (hidden JSON, icon semantics) that ordinary converters drop — preventing confident wrong answers. On its own MDBench Hard v1 benchmark (326 hard pages, 1,094 questions, graded via Claude Sonnet 5.5), Expand answered 74.1% correctly vs 55.3% for Exa and 27.2% for Firecrawl. Powered by its Iris and X-Ray models.
