Hyland open-sources OpenArch: federated, permission-aware data layer for AI agents
adnan_hashmi · x · 2026-10-14
Hyland has open-sourced OpenArch on GitHub, an AI-oriented data-management layer. It targets the classic pain points for AI adoption: data silos, permission drift, and scale.
Key capabilities:
- Federates unstructured, AI-ready data from all sources across an organization;
- Serves it to AI services and agents while always respecting original permissions;
- Can be self-managed with your own LLMs or AI services of choice.
The project is early-stage with 10 stars so far.
