Amp agents now follow up on their own GitHub PRs via new webhooks
Amp (Sourcegraph) · rss · 2026-10-12
Amp now follows up on GitHub pull requests it opens: comments, reviews, and CI results land in the same Amp thread.
- Powered by new first-class GitHub Webhooks support: unlike the generic webhook option, Amp centrally handles all requests and lets you (or your agent) forward them to a single orb or spawn a new one; agents can subscribe to specific events.
- One orb per new issue or PR: ask Amp to start an orb for every new issue/PR (optionally filtered by label); each orb reads the item, prepares a summary, and later comments stay in the same thread.
- Managed under Settings → MCP & Integrations → GitHub, where you can edit or pause subscriptions; requires installing the Amp GitHub App. Docs cover watching CI on main pushes and following existing issues/PRs.
