AlexTensor · x · 2026-10-14
Yann LeCun reposted and endorsed Arvind Narayanan's (@randomwalker) critical take on AI risk hype, calling them "excellent points that I wish more people would know and understand" — aimed squarely at those who "should know better but are scaring everyone with predictions of cyber security apocalypse (in addition to job apocalypse, and plain apocalypse)." It continues LeCun's long-standing pushback against AI doom narratives.
