Chinese Dating Site Says Women Flock to Silicon Valley to Marry AI Engineers

A New York Post report spotlights an unexpected side effect of the AI boom: Chinese and Chinese American women are relocating to Silicon Valley from across the country and abroad specifically to marry men working in AI.
Qinghua Zhao, founder of 2RedBeans, North America's largest Chinese dating site, says client wish lists have sharpened dramatically: "The first tier is Anthropic and OpenAI. If you're at one of those big companies, especially the AI ones, it's obvious they'll be huge the moment they go public."
Whereas clients 15 years ago simply asked for someone on the East or West Coast, AI engineers have now replaced traditional finance workers as the prime catch in the Valley's marriage market.
