Sentry CEO: headless agent signups went to zero after months, so we killed the experiment
zeeg · x · 2026-10-14
Sentry CEO David Cramer shares a learning: the company ran a months-long experiment allowing headless (agentic) signups via a partnership, but activity went essentially to zero and they are removing it. His takeaway: signup is not the friction point people assume — the real opportunity lies in onboarding and daily interactions. Headless signups aren't a real opportunity yet, at least in his business.
