Show HN: XY Music Notation — a base-12 score system built with Codex for isomorphic keyboards
jmole · hn · 2026-10-14
A Show HN project: the author designed an isomorphic music keyboard and built a matching "XY" notation mapping each 12-TET pitch class to symbols 0-9, X, Y. Using Codex, they built a MuseScore-based rendering backend with custom note heads that display pitch classes, generating sheet music to learn their own instrument.
