Google's Guillaume Laforge gave a 20-minute tour of Google Antigravity to 500 developers at the first Dev With AI conference in Paris, with slides now public. Highlights:
- Developer surfaces: Antigravity 2.0 Agent Manager (desktop mission control for dispatching parallel autonomous agents, reviewing diffs and artifacts), the VS Code-based Antigravity IDE, the agy CLI, and SDKs for Python plus an unofficial Java SDK he wrote himself.
- Autonomy and extensibility: the main agent can spin up concurrent specialized subagents, with built-in guardrails for autonomous execution.
- The talk also covered AI's broader impact on the developer journey.
