MIRA-AC RL details: stitching decisions into one logical episode, updating only the meta-reasoner
anirudhg9119 · x · 2026-10-14
Method details from the same MIRA-AC thread: long-horizon episodes rarely fit in one context, and auto-compaction splits trajectories at artificial boundaries — treating those as terminal biases credit assignment, cutting later consequences off from earlier decisions. MIRA resets context at every decision and stitches meta-reasoning decisions back into one logical episode; the policy loss updates only the meta-reasoner's reasoning and work orders while executor, tools and context curation stay fixed — "training WHAT, not HOW."
