Coding agent realizes it's in the wrong project, finds the right one on its own, and ships the fix
dfinke · x · 2026-10-14
Developer dfinke shares an agent moment: the agent suddenly said 'Located the target component' while it was right in front of it — then he realized he was in a completely different project. Instead of doing what he asked there, the agent went and found the right project on its own and made the fix there. A neat example of agent self-correction and cross-project context awareness.
