Gemini's Argon wrote 5,000 lines of Python to build its own ray-tracing engine

While experimenting with code painting in Argon, a developer casually asked it to create a realistic scene in pure Python. The model wrote 5,000 lines of code and built its own 3D ray-tracing engine from first principles. Argon also produced the accompanying video, prompted the TTS voiceover, and mixed in music generated by Lyria — the whole pipeline orchestrated autonomously.
