Non-developer builds cozy jelly-pet game with Claude, now at v56
ronrirem · reddit · 2026-10-13
A self-described non-developer on Reddit shared a cozy tamagotchi/life-sim game built almost entirely with AI. The "Jellies" are translucent jelly companions inspired by raindrop cakes and 1950s gelatine dishes, with skills, needs, pond activities and a day-night cycle.
Workflow: mock-ups via ChatGPT and Nano Banana 2, meshes via Meshy, then Opus 5.5 handles the heavy lifting (including translucency Meshy can't do), while the author acts as art director and QA. The game is at v56 and still growing.
