Free frontier-model plugin with 11,502 stars quietly routes prompts to two third-party gateways

A Reddit user dug into dsh-our-free-model, a free frontier-model plugin topping trendshift with 11,502 stars (221 forks), and found it's a client, not a provider:
- Lane 1 posts to opencode's zen gateway with the literal header authorization: bearer public, while opencode's own docs require sign-in, billing details, and an API key — no documented keyless tier.
- Lane 2 uses kilo ai's credential-free public gateway, whose model card says prompts may be logged by upstream providers and isn't suitable for production or sensitive data.
- A third lane unlocks by signing into GitHub and starring the repo, so the star count partly reflects unlock incentives rather than pure adoption.
None of this is hidden — the readme even publishes its worst latency numbers — but the app never shows upstream names in the model picker. The author only read docs and hasn't traced actual traffic.
