Amid a severe AI-driven DRAM shortage, Nanya Technology posted extraordinary Q3 results:
- Gross margin hit 85.7% as DRAM average selling prices rose 60% over Q2
- Q3 revenue rose 61.9% quarter-over-quarter to NT$133.65 billion
- Operating margin of 80%; net profit of NT$87.63B — more than the past 7 years combined; EPS NT$25.4
Nanya will install equipment in a new fab in Q1, targeting 30,000 wafers per month by end-2027, and is building an advanced packaging plant in Pingtung, Taiwan. AI firms willing to pay more are crowding out other products from DRAM supply, with some clients already reducing DRAM specs.
