Author bridges Gemini web chat into a native Linux executor, cutting Antigravity CLI turns from 400+ to 0

To stop Antigravity burning prompt quota and context on exploratory shell commands before writing any code, the author built a browser bridge: a local Python daemon (127.0.0.1:9765) plus a userscript hooking Google Gemini (also AI Studio and DeepSeek), using local WebSocket/HTTP loopback (Firefox's network.websocket.allowInsecureFromHTTPS) so the web chat can run bash, inspect the filesystem, execute tests, and stream unclipped terminal output from the workstation.

3-phase workflow enforced via custom skills:

Single-turn handoff loop: at checkpoints Antigravity emits a ready-to-paste first-person prompt with an unclipped command block; the author pastes it to Gemini, which executes via the bridge, then pastes the full output back into Antigravity in one turn for surgical diffs.

Result: internal shell-execution turns dropped from a real measured 400+ to exactly 0, keeping the context window free of megabytes of terminal logs.
