Postedly MCP lets AI agents send physical mail and faxes with human review
sparkignitefire · reddit · 2026-10-13
Developer-built paid service Postedly ships an MCP that lets MCP clients prepare letters, certified mail, postcards, handwritten cards and faxes, with human review before payment.
- Flow: check availability → upload PDF → get quote → return a private browser review link; nothing is charged or sent until the user approves the proof, recipient and total.
- Hosted endpoint uses Streamable HTTP with OAuth (PKCE); nine tools, with payment and fulfillment status reported separately.
- Notable design lesson: a matching file hash only proves the bytes match, not that the agent wrote the intended letter — docs now require checking every proof page including generated covers.
- Author seeks feedback on PDF handoff with remote OAuth MCP servers.
