Prompt injection baits a Temporal agent — Tenuo blocks the call at the worker
daniel_tenuo · reddit · 2026-10-13
Rajan built a Temporal agent with Tenuo and planted a prompt injection in robots.txt instructing it to read .env. The agent takes the bait, but the tool call is rejected at the worker before the activity runs; the agent then proceeds with its authorized changes, opens a PR, and waits for human merge. Tenuo is an open-source authorization layer for agents with native delegation support, SDKs in Python, Rust and TypeScript, and framework integrations. The demo shows how a model-never-holds-a-key, warrant-per-call architecture holds up under a real injection attempt.
