One PowerShell Pipeline: Select, Rank, and Route Your Inbox to the Right Team
dfinke · x · 2026-10-13
The author demos processing an inbox in a single #PowerShell pipeline: select which messages need a reply (Select-Jev), rank by urgency and keep the top 3 (Get-JevRanking -Top 3), then annotate which team should own each one (Add-JevAnnotation). Each step layers meaning onto the result, turning a pile of messages into the three things to handle next.
A companion snippet defines the routing rules via New-JevQuestion (billing→Payments, support→Broken features, sales→Product questions), so assignments flow straight out of the pipeline.
