Couple married 50 years tell AI their life stories nightly so kids can hear them later

Riley Ralmuto shared a touching story: after he set up an AI assistant for his dad, his father asked whether, when he and his wife passed away, it could read their conversations and simulate them for the kids.
The AI gave a thoughtful answer: "I can't literally become you, but I can tell really good stories about both of you. Do you have any stories you'd like me to remember?" Since then, the couple — together for over 50 years — has spent every night telling the AI their favorite life stories. Their son says it's the most fun they've had since his sister died 14 months ago.
A real-world example of AI companionship and memory preservation: not resurrecting the dead, but safeguarding family stories.
