Open-source Fizgig 7.3 adds music LoRA training for ACE-Step 1.5 with DAW-style editor
shootthesound · reddit · 2026-10-12
Fizgig, a free open-source LoRA trainer, has released v7.3 with music support: you can now train ACE-Step 1.5 XL LoRAs on your own songs and audition every checkpoint in the gallery as training progresses.
Key features:
- Slider LoRAs: train LoRAs that dial smoothly between two styles (e.g. calm to energetic) without needing any songs.
- Repair Studio: a DAW-like editor for AI music with per-block sliders, covers, repaint, extend, and LoRA mixing.
- I'm feeling lucky button: wired into Repair Studio, works surprisingly well with the DAW-style mode for exploration.
- Starter kit: a free, fully credited chiptune dataset and LoRA on Hugging Face — the author strongly recommends starting there and reading the included tips.
Release notes are on GitHub (v7.3.0).
