Variety reports director Stas Mareev is using generative AI to rebuild environments and action in his live-action sci-fi thriller 'Overstake', launching to buyers at Busan's Asian Contents & Film Market with Hong Kong's Cappu Films as worldwide sales agent. Performances and story stay as shot; the AI work is still in progress, so buyers will see a promo plus finished sequences.
