ArcKit: An Open-Source Governance Harness That Wraps AI Coding Assistants
mcraddock · x · 2026-10-12
ArcKit is an open-source enterprise architecture governance kit that wraps AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Codex CLI, OpenCode, GitHub Copilot): it intercepts tool calls, gates unsafe writes, and provenance-stamps every artifact. Outputs—stakeholder analyses, risk registers, design reviews, traceability matrices—are template-driven, version-controlled, and audit-ready. It ships a UK Government baseline (TCoP, GDS Service Standard, MOD JSP 936, HM Treasury books) plus community overlays for EU, France, Austria, Canada, UAE, Australia, USA, UK Finance, NHS and G-Cloud (7 jurisdictions, 3 sectors, 16 agents), organized around GDS Agile Delivery phases from Planning to Live.
