Man vibe-codes a full 380KB single-file Caribbean pirate RPG with Claude, now live

A non-programmer built a Stick RPG-style 1715 Caribbean pirate game by describing requests to Claude one at a time — now free on CrazyGames with mobile support.
Key details:
- Zero asset files: every sprite, building and tile is drawn in code onto a low-res canvas; music is a small sequencer, cannon/steel/surf sounds synthesized in-browser. The whole game is one 380KB HTML file.
- Self-testing: after each change, Claude ran the game in a headless browser, played the new feature and checked screenshots — catching real bugs like a sail-speed setting overwriting sail color and blanking the battle screen.
- Handled shipping too: wired in CrazyGames ad and cloud-save kits, built an ad-free itch.io version with a demo cutoff, and generated store covers and preview videos.
- Author was creative director, most messages just a sentence or two.
Imperfections: some features took several rounds, and he had to keep pushing to escape the generic AI art look.
