Agents Repriced Building: The PM-Designer-Engineer Trio Was Always Just a Queue

Mar Dehaym argues the PM-designer-engineer trio was never a dream team — at best a queue: requirements to wireframes to code, with each handoff losing customer context and three $100k+ salaries spent arguing before a line gets written. PRDs, reviews, and story points were insurance against wasted engineering hours when shipping the wrong feature cost a sprint or a quarter.

Agents have repriced building: a working version now takes hours instead of weeks, making the alignment overhead feel like paying collision premiums for a fender bender. The org rituals built around expensive development are losing their rationale.
