Dona Sarkar, a lifelong journaler with 200 journals over 30 years, says writing is how she thinks and understands herself — handing it to AI "feels like handing over my brain, my heart and my presence." She cites Micah Fattahi's thesis that tech companies need creatives in hybrid roles, with writing as the top high-demand, low-supply skill: "when there's too much of one (tech), the pendulum always swings back (creative)."
