A pragmatic agent dev loop: Fable prototypes, Opus implements, Fable verifies — all in parallel
dotey · x · 2026-10-10
Dotey shared how he handles AI-assisted development: not every change needs a technical spec — UI-heavy edits can start from a prototype. He uses the agent's built-in browser "marker" tool to annotate spots and leave comments, then has the agent sync prototype changes into the real code in the same session.
His division of labor: Fable for design, Opus for implementation, Fable again for acceptance testing. Every feature and bug fix runs this loop; fast feedback at each step keeps the loop tight and efficiency high, and once it's running he parallelizes multiple tasks while focusing on problem definition and verification.
His current bottleneck is local hardware and token limits, so he plans to shift more tasks to the cloud to increase parallelism.
