OpenCode v2 bug: declined tool calls recorded as shutdown and auto-resumed on restart
edwluo · ghdev · 2026-10-10
A reproduced bug in OpenCode v2: declining a tool call is recorded as a server shutdown, so the claim isn't released and on next restart the model is told to continue the work the user just declined. Root cause: decline triggers Effect.interrupt with no reason, which SessionExecution.terminal defaults to "shutdown". Affects v2.0.12, v2.0.26, and the v2 branch; each half is unit-tested but not together.
