Organizers announced the Sci-FM@ COLM 2026 workshop (Oct 9, 2026, San Francisco), inviting papers on training dynamics, scaling laws, data and optimization, post-training, reward modeling, evaluation science, reliability, reproducibility, and theory of foundation models — with special interest in rigorous empirical studies, theory-grounded work, negative results, and reproductions.
