Deepkit author: Bun is rediscovering our decade-old ideas, agents could revive it

Marc J. Schmidt, author of Deepkit, notes that Bun's experiments with its own compiler/checker and lightweight runtime types echo conclusions Deepkit reached years ago without the same resources.
He half-seriously proposes resurrecting Deepkit with TypeRunner plus a horde of AI agents, arguing that a well-aligned agent fleet can outbuild a 10-person VC-funded team.
