An indie developer in Delta State, Nigeria has released Makoko Blood and Water, a third-person action game inspired by Rockstar's GTA franchise, set in Lagos's Makoko stilt slum, featuring story, combat and dynamic NPCs — built alone in just 2 months. He also laments that Makoko has since been demolished, with zero media coverage from the NGOs and outlets that long used the community as poverty-porn material.
