GNU Guix has banned all AI-generated contributions, sparking debate over an "anti-AI mind virus" in open source. dhh pushed back hard: code is good or bad regardless of whether it was written by "math or by mind" — merge good code, reject bad code, no code of conduct needed. He quipped Nix now has no competition.
