Gemini video editing prompts: remove objects and change camera angles in one line
ifioknkem · x · 2026-10-09
A thread of copy-paste prompts for editing videos directly with Google Gemini. This entry covers two templates:
- Object removal: "Remove [object], fill the space naturally using the surrounding background, keep [main subject], [lighting], and [camera movement] unchanged" — demonstrated by deleting a water bottle from a table scene.
- Camera angle change: recreate the scene from a new angle (e.g. a low-angle hero shot) while keeping the subject, action, and outfit consistent, and adjusting lighting, shadows, and background perspective to match.
The reusable pattern is a fixed structure of "what to keep + what to change" to constrain the edit.
