xAI Launches Grok Bot Marketplace With Connectable Apps and Community Bots
nicolascraske · x · 2026-10-08
xAI has launched the Grok Bot Marketplace. New-user advice: connect your everyday apps first (calendar, Slack, issue tracker, CRM, Google Drive) so your bot has context and tools, and stick with one capable primary bot before splitting into specialized ones — think of multiple bots as designing a team.
The store already lists many community bots, e.g. Outbound Prospecting (researches prospects, drafts first messages), SEO & AEO Desk (turns keywords into content briefs), Recruiting Coordinator (schedules interview loops), QA bot (runs acceptance checklists pre-ship), and an engineering supervisor bot that launches cloud agents on a repo and watches PRs on a 30-minute cadence. All bots require human approval before sending or spending.
