Microsoft ships Azure Canvas authoring plugin: Copilot generates agent workspaces with read-only defaults
WirelessLife · x · 2026-10-08
Microsoft released a Canvas authoring plugin that guides Copilot through the native canvas workflow, generating a complete project on the Microsoft Canvas Toolkit—no more hand-rolling auth, subscription scoping, shared state, and host integration. The starter defaults to read-only behavior until a subscription is explicitly chosen and a write is approved, reflecting the author's point that good Azure automation should make approval boundaries harder to skip, not easier.
