pstAsiatech · x · 2026-10-08
CCTV once again reported on AI data center construction in China's remote regions, this time spotlighting Ulanqab — the country's largest cluster of such projects. With an average annual temperature of just 4.3°C and abundant wind and solar resources, the area has landed more than 100 AIDC projects. Land once used for growing potatoes now "grows tokens," and the region is also training local talent in data center construction.
