Dev prefers vanilla AI + verification over skill packs: wire MCPs so agents fix, deploy, and verify metrics themselves
DanielLockyer · x · 2026-10-07
Daniel Lockyer says he'd now take vanilla AI plus self-built verification over almost any set of skill packs. His key move: hook up MCPs for infrastructure providers so an agent can make a fix, watch the deploy go through, and then check metrics/spans to confirm it actually worked. Stopping at code changes, he notes, leaves a lot of manual work on the table — closing the verification loop is where the leverage is.
