Hooking MCPs to infra lets agents fix code, watch deploys, and verify metrics
DanielLockyer · x · 2026-10-07
Developer DanielLockyer shares his agent workflow: beyond code changes, he hooks up MCPs for infrastructure providers so an agent can make a fix, watch the deploy go through, and check metrics/spans to confirm it worked.
He argues that while agents can figure things out themselves, a small amount of prebuilt tooling is much faster to reuse. His favorite combo recently: a Playwright/screenshot workflow where a high-level command returns code changes with before/after screenshots at different screen sizes.
